K.B.Ceramics

K.B. Ceramics is a one woman, queer owned business. All work is hand thrown in small batches which allows each piece to have its own personality and character. The simple color glazes that are used highlight the quality of each piece and showcase the forms themselves. Kate feels that allowing each item to be unique is what sets her work apart. She has spent the last 18 years honing her throwing skills, and her focus is on creating pieces that are well balanced and inviting to use. All work is microwave and dishwasher safe. K.B.Ceramics is meant to be used and enjoyed every day. Kate's hope is to inspire people to take moments from their busy lives and enjoy the small things we do in each day. Everyday rituals, such as savoring a cup of coffee in a favorite mug, can bring pause and refocus to an otherwise fast paced existence.
